How Arsenal can Win Trophy(es) next season.

This season is another trophy-less season for Arsenal. Though there are some improvement made compare to last season. Arsenal get to Carling Cup Final, better FA Cup run, and still have the possibility to finish higher than last season.

How can we win next season? There are 10 factor that can make Arsenal win next season

  1. The young team will gel and complete their 'transition' period: The team Arsene have now is still young and have very little experience in Premier League. Only Henry, Gilberto, Toure, and Lehmann are 1st team regular for past 3-4 years. Hleb only at the club for two season and still not fully adapt while Gallas are injured during the course of the season and are slowly adapt to Arsenal style of play. While Fabregas, Clichy, Senderos, Adebayor are still maturing and their best years are still ahead. A bright future for Gunners.
  2. Fit Thierry Henry: A fit Titi can give morale boost to anyone at the club. He can bang in goals like always and hopefully the injury will gone forever.
  3. Consistence back four: Our back four this season is not consistent and always changing. A lot of injury occur to our squad and Arsene Wenger must rotate the defence every match.
  4. Goal scoring midfielder: Arsenal will need a goal-scoring midfielder. Someone that have quality like Pires. Rosicky can do it but he need not to be shy in front of penalty box and must be creative to set up goal scoring chance for himself.
  5. Luck: Lady luck have not been with Arsenal in the last two season. We always have bad luck on injuries and Gallas has mysterious injuries that prevent him playing for month. Titi also suffer long-term injury.
  6. A good pre-season. Pre-season is very important for the players. Last year world cup may take a toll on the player whose nation qualify for the latter stage. Their performance are below par and the player fitness also suffer.
  7. A really good signing: Arsene have said that he probably sign someone 'super' but latter said that how will he slot the player. Maybe he just keep the player name just for himself so the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Chelsea will not steal the player.
  8. World Class Goalkeeper: Lehmann may leave this summer so Arsene must buy a very good goalkeeper. Romour has linked Igor Akinfeev and Craig Gordon as well as Boruc
  9. Maturing youngster: Promising talents like Denilson, Diaby and Walcott will gain more experience. They need to be more dynamic, taking chances and physically strong.
  10. Improved English FA: The English FA were really double-standard this season. While the ratio of yellow cards to fouls that we receive is ridiculous and the referee is bias towards us.
Hopefully, we will win trophy(es) next season to reward our 'Total Football' style.

Kien Keat-Boog Heong gives Malaysia first All-England doubles title in 25 years

Malaysian hotshots Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong gave an awesome display to end Malaysia’s 25-year wait for a men’s doubles title in the All-England badminton championships at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham here Sunday.

The duo, hardly giving any chance to their opponent, the top seeds and the world champion
Cai Yun-Fu Haifeng and beat them 21-15, 21-18 in a 38-minute battle. They did not show any nerves as it is their first outing as pair.

What makes their win so impressive is that they did not lose a single set in the competition. When I watch the match, it show that Malaysia have a really good talent and future. They show the will to win and I really hope other player no matter in what sports will emulate their achievement on the international stage.

Malaysia BOLEHHHH!!!!!

Malaysian double sail into All England final

Malaysia’s hotshots Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong are just one step away from ending Malaysian’s 25-year wait for the men’s doubles title at the All-England badminton championships. The duo, who are making their debut in the All-England, crushed two-time Al-England champions Jens Eriksen-Martin Lundgaard Hansen of Denmark 21-15, 21-13 in the semi-finals at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham.

It is thier second win over the Danes. Today, they will face the world champion and
top seed Cai Yun-Fu Haifeng of China in the final. “It was another good performance from Koo and Tan. The Danes were just too worried about the Malaysians attacking game and tried to keep the shuttle low. It did not work for them.

In other news, Cristiano Ronaldo earns Manchester United FA Cup replay with a penalty that
secured a 2-2 draw at Middlesbrough in their FA Cup quarter-final. The replay will be played at Manchester United home, Old Trafford.

Updates on sport world

Update for Arsenal Fan.

After a win at Emirates Stadium, I hope we can win another game and win by aggregate.
3-0 is needed as Arsenal want to progress into the latter stage.

Arsene Wenger might gamble to play Henry as he is currently have a 50-50 chance to play. I think the most probable is Henry will be on the bench. Good news is Adebayor, Eboue and Toure can play and I hope we did not need to take a gamble on Henry as it may worsened the injury that he sustain.

On other news, I found an interesting article, you can read all the article here.

On local news, Kah Yan a Malaysian swimmer win gold in all 11 events n the Kuala Lumpur Age-Group Championships.

Roger Federer is set to broke another records in Indiana Wells as he just break the record of the longest men tennis player in No. 1 spot for 161 weeks. If he win the opening match, he will equal
John McEnroe's record of 42 successive victories. Two matches later he could equal the Ivan Lendl run of 44, moving in sight of the all-time winning streak of 46 set by Argentina's Guillermo Vilas in 1977.
